What a great trilogy! And yes, Lirael is a bit angsty in the second book, but in the third one, once she's found her way - her goal in life - she truly comes into her own.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09551558744801344170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578764475698868093.post-41619488835658602832008-03-14T11:10:00.000-04:002008-03-14T11:10:00.000-04:00Imani - Thanks for your wishes. It's the type of reading that's diverting and comfortable, but not exciting.Tedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05511240514127283024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578764475698868093.post-32770402936012575842008-03-14T10:54:00.000-04:002008-03-14T10:54:00.000-04:00Oi, bureaucracies. Hurray for you!

Lirael is my least favourite of the three books, which isn't saying much since I like all of them, but yes, our good ol' Sabriel won't figure much at all until the third book and she was my favourite character. I think I found Lirael a bit too angsty? Which fits in with your Harry Potter comparison since Harry went through a bit of that himself.Imanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09647980707788075258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5578764475698868093.post-68372612085519960252008-03-14T09:41:00.000-04:002008-03-14T09:41:00.000-04:00Sarah- Thanks very much.
