but why not...
* Bold the ones you’ve read, or are reading (I've changed this to yellow so that it's legible again the black background)
* Blue means I particularly enjoyed it,
* Red means I did not enjoy it)
* Italicize the ones you want to read
* Leave blank the ones that you neither want to read nor don’t want to read
* Strike the ones you have no desire to read
* If you are reading this, tag, you’re it!
You notice no red titles on my list, that's not because I'm shallow. It's because I won't waste time reading a book I do not enjoy. Why bother? There are so many good ones.

I did this meme ages ago I think: Meme. We have a few of the same strike outs in common but you've read way more than I have. I don't think it's a 100 greatest novels list at all (can't be).
On your starred ones - I loved both A Fine Balance and Fall on Your Knees (both epic reads). I so want to read Ulysses too but I'm intimidated. I'm going to have to have Sheila (at Sheila Variations) help me through it! You may not have hit as many on this list as I, but you'd surely kick my proverbial butt on others. (That probably just cost me my 'R' rating)!
that's a lot of books!
