Imagine that

Varsity Aesthete emailed me about a place called Philoctetes here in NYC. I had never heard of it but apparently they explore imagination and creativity via a multidisciplinary approach. Thanks, VA. They are having an event this Thursday evening (check the above link for details) about hyper and hypographia - the first is when you can't stop writing and the second is when you can't start (familiarly known as writer's block). Guests including among others a neurologist, an architect and the novelist Jonathan Lethem. So if you're in the neighborhood check them out; I will be studying for an exam on Friday so you won't find me there, but if you go let me know what they're like.
