Thinking About Thinking (Discussions with Daniel Kahneman)

Edge's Third Culture features thinkers who through their work redefine who and what we are. On their website now are excerpts from talks given by psychologist Daniel Kahneman from Princeton - called A Short Course in Thinking About Thinking. In both written and video excerpts Kahneman talks about some of his ideas on such topics as the difference between the insider and the outsider's point of view and how that influences planning, risk taking, decision making, and other topics. It's a great introduction to one of our most influential thinkers about thinking. I have found Kahneman incisive on how our assumptions lead us astray and his writing is clear and eminently practical. Perhaps you might find these interesting.
